But I want it to "smell" clean, sniffing out the truth.

"Will it smell clean?"  It's the question I've been asked when I first show people how to clean with just water. Why? Because we have been led to believe that something must SMELL chemically clean in order to BE clean. Unfortunately many fragrances used in our cleaning and laundry products often contain toxic ingredients, these ingredients all add up to an unhealthy chemical soup.  Just grab your dryer sheets or fabric softeners and look at some of the ingredients listed!  Mind you not everything IS listed but, you get the picture. These chemicals can trigger allergy and asthma reactions and for some it worsens their asthma. The "American Academy of Allergy & Asthma" states that in the U.S. alone 1 in every 10 children now deal with Asthma. Unfortunately the trend shows that those statistics will continue to increase, as they have over the last several decades. There are indications that chemical fragrances can actually cause a healthy person to develop allergies and asthma! That's a heavy exchange just to have something "smell clean." Chemical fragrances not only affect your lungs, but your skin, reproductive system and more! Look at the chart below from fairladyhealth.com

There are studies showing the direct health impact these chemicals have on adults and children. We may wonder why these products continue to be sold with such damaging health impacts but, we know that as long as companies are making money from these products, they will continue to sell them!

The good news is that when we know better, we can do better. That means we can make an impact by changing which products we use. Sure, I will absolutely encourage you to clean with just water when you can or to use our cleaning products ,which are 100% biodegradable.  But, you can also check out different websites like the Environmental Working Group and Thinkdirty.com . They independently rate many personal care and cleaning products.

In fact, they have an article that goes into depth about the health impact of synthetic fragrances.  I highly recommend you check it out!

Remember!
